Checklist for preparing your vacation
- Safety and travel essentials
Remember your ID cards (including those of children) and your social security card.
Before you leave, check whether your home is properly locked and secured, inform your neighbors / friends / relatives about your trip, and possibly order or cancel your newspaper.
For your safety, we recommend oneCancellation and travel insurance.

This is how you can find us
Please note that our huts are located at almost 1,400 m above sea level and that you sometimes have to overcome steep gradients. Depending on the weather, road conditions can be challenging and in winter it might make sense to pack snow chains and starter cables.

- The weather on the Flattnitz

- Check-in and check-out
Your booked holiday home is ready for you on the day of arrival between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m., on the day of departure we ask you to hand the hut over to us by 10 a.m. at the latest. If you plan to arrive later, please inform us in good time.
- Shortened check-in
So that we can take care of the necessary formalities at check-in in advance, please fill out the list of names and return it to us.
- Breakfast and bread service
At the Gasthof Isopp you can always order rolls for breakfast the day before. You have to pick this up yourself in the morning at the Gasthof Isopp (approx. 300 m away). - Supermarket
Since there is no supermarket on the Flattnitz, you have to bring your own groceries. There is also the possibility of buying groceries at one of the supermarkets down in the valley (Glödnitz or Stadl). Distance of both places from the Flattnitz approx. 20 KM. - Inn
You can have a leisurely dinner in the Gasthof Isopp or in the Flattnitzer Stuben.

- Pans and pots in several sizes
- Filter coffee maker and kettle
- Fondue and raclette set
- Cleaning rags, tabs for the dishwasher and garbage bags
What you should bring with you if necessary
- Salt, pepper, sugar and spices, kitchen roll
- coffee and tea
- Oil for frying, olive oil and vinegar
- Lighter for the tiled stove, charcoal for grilling, lighter or matches
- Dish soap, hand soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll
- Individually required kitchen appliances
- Games, books, magazines
- When packing, please also think of bed linen and towels as well as bathrobes, sauna towels, sauna oil and bathing shoes for your sauna visit.
- If we are allowed to put linen packages (bed cover, towel, bath towel) in the hut for you (€ 10 per person), please inform us before your arrival or book the package directly.
- A hair dryer is available in both huts.
Please also remember that we don't have a washing machine in the huts.
